Okinawa’s most luxurious Club Lounge will be available to Club InterContinental and Suite accommodation guests from 17 June 2018
Okinawa, Japan, 09 April 2018: ANA Intercontinental Manza Beach Resort is delighted to announce the 17 June 2018 scheduled opening of the resort’s Club InterContinental Lounge, which will be exclusively accessible for Club InterContinental and Suite accommodation guests’ enjoyment.
The newly developed 145-seat Club InterContinental Lounge enjoys breath-taking 270-degrees ocean and sunset views. The exclusive Club InterContinental Lounge has been designed with a harmonious layout, including concierge and arrival, dining, relaxation and socializing areas and two outside sofa seating terraces. It also offers a library and art gallery for guests’ enjoyment, as well as the dining area features a full bar. Post check-out, shower rooms are provided for guests’ convenience.
The Club InterContinental Lounge introduces Okinawa’s most luxurious club lounge experience with conception design featuring highest quality of material all with a local Okinawan design touch embracing the natural marine environment of the resort. In addition, this new facility further enhances the international luxury appeal of the resort which was rebranded to ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort in April 2009.
The Club InterContinental Lounge is designed with the Club Intercontinental’s luxury brand design image, connecting living spaces to the luxury feeling and natural surrounds. World-renowned design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (www.hba.com) was engaged to bring the design to life.
HBA’s head of design, Akihiro Wakasa, says; “The chosen design mimics finding a secret gateway by wandering through tropical bushes on sunny day when casting shadow coming between leaves and flowers. At the end of passage way, it reveals panoramic view to the ocean and white sand beach which gives the lounge a refreshed look and feel. The colour scheme was inspired from tropical scenery, the Cliffs of Manza, deep sea blue, and touch of vivid colour from beautiful Okinawan coral reef. All together it creates a unique visual design and plays an important role in this newly developed facility as the resort remains dedicated to fine quality and finishes”.
